Kirron Kher was diagnosed with multiple myeloma a type of blood cancer in 2020. She recently shared information about her tough battle with Cancer and how despite undergoing intense treatment she never gave up her role as a judge on India’s Got Talent.
In an interview with News18, Kirron mentioned that she was not acting during her battle with cancer, focusing only on her role as a judge on India’s Got Talent while living in her hometown of Chandigarh. She explained that she remained committed to the show but avoided other projects, including films. Despite undergoing severe treatment, she continued her work on India’s Got Talent, stating that she could not quit the show.
Reflecting on her journey, she said: “Everyone is afraid that one day something like this might happen. But when it happens, there is no choice but to accept it. The treatment, with all its side effects, was more difficult than the disease itself. The first six to eight months were very difficult, but you leave it in the Lord’s hands. I always believed, even when I was fighting for elections, that “This is not my fight. the Lord fights for me.”

Although she has recovered, Kirron emphasized her deep faith in God, stating that while people often think they are in control, it is the divine who really shapes events. She also noted that her battle with cancer is not over yet as her treatment continues despite her recovery. He explained, “They don’t even say you’ve beaten it. They continue the treatment. They give it at longer intervals, but the treatment continues for years.”
